THE biggest multi-venue music festival of the year kicks off next week.

More than 100 artists will play in 15 venues across Manchester in one day at Neighbourhood Festival.

Miles Kane, The Sherlocks and Fat White Family are among the long list of bands set to take the city centre by storm on Saturday, October 12.

They will be adorning the stages of the Albert Hall, Ritz, Gorilla, Deaf Institute, YES! and the Academy venues.

Bars, pubs and other small venues will also be getting involved with Revolution, Jimmy's Bar, Refuge, Thirsty Scholar and Bread Shed all in the mix.

The third and final wave of artists to join the Neighbourhood bill include acclaimed live bands The Wytches and Skinny Living, punktronic quartet Snapped Ankles, BBC Introducing favourites Mealtime and Glasgow’s finest The Ninth Wave.

The festival will also host some of the hottest up-and-coming bands such as Vistas, Nova Twins and Coach Party.

Local talent PINS and Valve will also perform across Manchester’s best and most iconic music venues.

And if that's not enough, the official launch party will be headlined by The Magic Gang with guests Treeboy and Arc.

Neighbourhood Festival has sold out in advance for three years in a row now, selling 5,500 tickets each year – and organisers say this year will be no different.

With headline acts performing in both the afternoon and the evening, Neighbourhood once again promises to the best place to see your beloved bands, while discovering new favourites – well worth the trip into Manchester.

Tickets are still available for the launch party which will take place at YES! in the infamous Pink Room on Friday, doors at 7pm.

Neighbourhood Festival tickets are still on sale via Gigs & Tours, See Tickets, Ticketmaster, Festicket and DICE.

The day kicks off at 11am with the final bands due to wrap up by 10.30pm.

Tickets cost £30 and punters must be 14 years old or over.
