This week's story is from September 28, 1990
TWO-year-old Christopher Taylor, of Lynton Drive, Prestwich, was just one of the thousands of youngsters to meet Thomas the Tank Engine at a fun weekend event.
Young Christopher came across the loveable children's book character at the East Lancashire Railway attraction.
Steam and diesel trains wearing faces from the famous tank engine book sped between Bury and Ramsbottom, giving passengers a nostalgic trip back in time.
They got off in Ramsbottom to look round stalls, vintage vehicles and to have a go on a bouncy castle.
