BURY'S Jimmy Petruzzi will be flying out to work with the Ivory Coast national team at the end of the month.
The former fitness conditioner, now working within the club's centre of excellence, will advise the African nation - ranked 18th in the world - on fitness and performance ahead of their World Cup 2010 qualifying campaign.
Aussie Petruzzi worked with Angola during the last World Cup, and has also worked with Blackburn Rovers this season.
"It's a good opportunity for me to fly out to Africa and get involved with the set up," he said. "I'm still really enjoying my work with Bury, and I think that this kind of thing can only make me better as a coach, and be of benefit to the club."
