A BUSINESS support firm run by Bolton managing director Paul Norris has been appointed on to a tender framework of suppliers to deliver the Executive Development Programme on behalf of the Manchester-based Business Growth Hub.

The objective of the programme is to ensure companies across Greater Manchester reach their full potential and are able to access the right sort of support for their needs.

Gerron, set up by Mr Norris more than a decade ago, will be responsible for direct delivery of the support which he says will be tailored to the specific needs and objectives of the businesses and individuals.

"The programme is a fully funded scheme which allows owners, managers and management teams to work with our specialist to focus on different aspects of their business," said Mr Norris.

"Firms will get up to 18 hours of fully funded support which can cover everything from leadership and management, strategic planning, business development and personal effectiveness and many other areas that a growth-focused business needs."

Mr Norris said businesses will work with Gerron specialists, who have built and run successful businesses themselves and who understand what managers need to grow.

"The programme is not aimed at those who are looking for an academic approach, but firms which want a pragmatic approach," said Mr Norris.

Gerron, based at Spinningfields in Manchester offers a range of business services, including strategy, business improvement, quality, human resources, health and safety, environmental issues, supply chain, IT systems and processes, IT automation and reporting, IT support, acceleration and turnaround.

"We work in a diverse range of business areas within the private and public sectors," said Mr Norris. "The structure of our business means that we can provide clients with one of the most comprehensive and user friendly business support services available, helping them focus their businesses for superior performance."
