A FAMILY of dairy farmers have been left tickled pink by their efforts to support cancer research.
The Kenyons, who have run Wood Road Dairy Farms in Summerseat since 1955, wrapped around 100 hay bales in pink last week as part of the 'Wrap for Life' campaign, which originated in New Zealand.
Barbara Kenyon, of John Kenyon and Sons, said: "I think the campaign will be a lot bigger next year, because it's just starting to get going in Britain and Ireland.
"We were approached to take part and we very keen to do so because cancer has touched our lives a little bit, and this is something fun to do that will help us give a little bit back."
The farm is also selling a limited stock of pink wellies, with all proceeds going to The Christie hospital.
