THE curtain has risen on the latest production by pupils of St Gabriel's RC High School which includes two "sold out" performances.
A total of 100 students from the Bridge Road school are involved in the staging of "Beauty and the Beast."
Evening performances began on Tuesday and will finish on Friday.
Pupils are presenting the Disney version of "Beauty and the Beast" and have been preparing for the show for around the last 12 months. Performances tonight (Thurs) and tomorrow (Fri Nov 20) are sold out.
On Monday, youngsters from six local primary schools attended a matinee of the production at St Gabriel's, with cast members mainly drawn from years 10 and 11 although a number of younger students are also involved.
The school stages a production every two years.
