KINDHEARTED staff from a Whitefield business have donated gifts to a Salford foodbank.

PMC Telecom handed over boxes of crucial supplies to the foodbank after a month-long collection by employees.

Manager Steve Mills hand delivered the boxes to the foodbank offices in Lower Broughton, Salford, where he was thanked by staff.

He said: “It was a really nice feeling to hand over the donations to Salford Central Foodbank. It’s a great cause and it matters to me that we can make a difference.

“The staff over there work really hard sorting all the donations that they get and it’s a tough job, but it’s great that everyone pulls together to those in need.

“Thanks to all the staff at PMC Telecom for helping make this such a success. We’ll certainly be back again next year.”

Salford Central Foodbank manager Mark Whittington added: “Thanks so much to PMC Telecom for the support.”
