I CAN understand why the increase in Superbug C. Difficile. When I come to work or visit the Royal Bolton Hospital not one out of 10 people use the hand sanitisers as you go into outpatients and particularly the wards, also on the way in and out.
I have witnessed people not washing their hands after going to communal toilets.
There is too much cross infection in the communal areas. There are too many visitors to a bed and are the chairs sanitised after as most of these visitors have not used the hand sanitisers or washed their hands.
There needs to be an increase in sanitation before entering the hospital and no dirty mobile phones allowed.
