AN ICONIC Canadian coffee chain is opening a store in the heart of Bury.
Tim Hortons is opening one of its coffee shops in Mill Gate Shopping Centre.
This is in addition to a drive through announced last week, which will be in Bury New Road, Salford.
The chair is opening a string of cafes across Greater Manchester following the successful launch of its first restaurant in Glasgow in June.
The openings are bringing job opportunities to the area and those interested should email careers@timhortons.co.uk.
Kevin Hydes, chief finance and commercial officer, said: “We’re delighted to be opening five Tim Hortons restaurants in quick succession in Greater Manchester and the surrounding area.
"Every Restaurant we have opened so far has been met with off-the-chart excitement levels and we think people in Warrington, Bury, Altrincham and Sale are going to love our great tasting freshly brewed coffee and quality food.", which is perfect for the festive season!"
The chain was founded by its namesake, a top professional ice hockey player, who wanted to create a space where everyone would feel at home.
Tim Hortons now estimates it sells nearly eight out of every 10 cups of coffee bought in Canada.
