SIR David Crausby is calling for nominations for a special awards programme to mark the 70th birthday of the NHS.
The MP is searching for outstanding nominees for the NHS70 Parliamentary Awards who have made a real difference to how the healthcare system.
The Bolton North East MP said: “The NHS is one of the nation’s most loved institutions, and it is right that we take the opportunity of its 70th birthday to recognise and thank the extraordinary people who are there to support and care for us, day in, day out.
“I know that there are many examples of excellent care and practice benefiting local people, and I would urge those working with and for health and care organisations in Bolton to send me suggestions of individuals or teams who deserve national recognition.”
There are ten categories, including a lifetime achievement award to honour those who have devoted their careers to making the NHS better.
MPs have until March 23 to submit their nominations and the regional champions in each category will be announced on May 21.
