SUPERJOSH founder Dawn Fidler brings you her latest blog.

Last month a large group of our amazing team took to the streets to walk the distance from Blackpool to Bury!

51 walkers along with 14 support cars covered a massive distance of over 36 miles during their sponsored ultra-trek on the 14th April.

The walkers set off from Woodbank Cricket Club at 6am to head to Blackpool by minibus, and then walked all the way back to Bury arriving around 12 hours later very sore and tired!

We want to say a huge thank you to all involved and for everyone’s generous support and donations. Sponsorship is still coming in but our team will have raised over £21,000 to help and support our families - just incredible!

All their amazing fundraising is going to make such a massive difference to help the families we are currently supporting and also some of those on our waiting list.

We help families of children or young people who have a brain tumour, post-surgery disabilities and others along Josh’s Journey in his legacy.

Your donations help at a critical time when a family is in crisis.

Without everyone’s amazing support we wouldn’t be able to fund our counselling programme, give financial help grants, fund specialist equipment and house adaptions.

Sometimes it’s an iPad to help a child’s communication, maybe a respite break is desperately needed, and sadly as we know first-hand often it's guidance, financial help and support with a child's funeral send-off.

This Saturday 26th May our team are arranging a Teddy Bears picnic at Bury FC social club 1pm - 4pm. It’s £5 per family and there's going to be a picnic, tombola, games & face painting.

Fun for the family and your teddies too!

Everyone is welcome.
