FAMILIES will descend on Red Bank playing field tomorrow as Six Town Housing's Summer Roadshow comes to Radcliffe.

The free family day out will feature face painting, a bouncy castle, giant games and competitions.

Young people will also have the chance to hold a range of animals and reptiles, courtesy of Ranger Rob's Animal Experience.

Meanwhile, visiting adults will have the opportunity to access energy saving advice, employment support, digital training and guidance on how to avoid condensation and damp in homes, among other information.

John Merrick, director of neighbourhoods at Six Town Housing, said: “Our events provide a way for tenants to find out about and access a range of services that may have an impact on their lives, while keeping them and their families entertained.”

Six Town Housing, an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO), was set up in 2005 to manage the housing stock owned by Bury Council.

The Radcliffe event is the third of five to take place across the borough. More than 400 people attended the first roadshow at Hoyles Park two weeks ago.

Families are invited to Red Bank playing field between 1pm and 4pm on Tuesday, August 7.
