THREE Bolton golf clubs are involved in the Manchester and District Alliance Inter Club competitions quarter-finals.
Bolton Old Links will take part in three events, with Hindley Hall and Dunscar involved in one apiece.
In the City Glass Men’s Foursomes – the final of which will be at Houldsworth Golf Club on September 30 – Old Links will be at home to Dukinfield.
In the Archie Preston Mixed Foursomes, which has its final at Shaw Hill on September 23, Old Links travel to Rochdale, while fellow Bolton Golf Association members Hindley Hall are also away, at Bramhall.
In the Seniors Matchplay Old Links will visit Davyhulme Park. The final of that competition will be at Manchester Golf Club on Friday, September 21.
In the Williams BMW Junior Team Challenge, which will have its final at Lowes Park on Sunday, October 7, Dunscar travel to Rossendale.
Turton are one of four teams taking part in the finals day of the Manchester and District Ladies Golf Association Bell Cup on Friday, September 7, at Prestbury Golf Club.
The competition is the biggest of its kind in the country with an entry of more than 80 clubs.
In the semi-finals Turton will face Rochdale in the morning with the winners playing the winners of the second semi-final between Sale and Haydock Park in the afternoon final.
