Soldiers in the trenches during the First World War
MALE and female singers are being invited to join rehearsals for a commemoration of the end of the First World War.
The rehearsals for Bury Choral Society's The Great War:Armistice concert are held at 7.30pm on Tuesdays, at Holy Trinity School in Cecil Street.
The concert will then be held on Tuesday November 6.
This year marks the 180th anniversary of the society's formation in 1838 — making it one of the oldest such groups in the country.
