TWO years on from Greater Manchester's devolution deal an event in planned to highlight how it has changed the borough's health care.
Money from the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (£19.2 million) is enabling the care commissioners and the council to work together to provide a more joined-up healthcare system.
Jon Rouse, chief officer for Greater Manchester's healthcare partnership, said: "We are beginning to see the actual difference these principles have made to local people when put into practice.The event is an excellent opportunity to discover how devolution has affected people's lives."
The event takes place tomorrow in the Elizabethan Suite, Bury Town Hall. A drop-in event runs from noon and from 2pm devolution's changes will be talked about.
