POLICE have raided nine drugs hotspots across Greater Manchester and Lancashire this morning in an operation aimed at disrupting cannabis supplies.
Officers searched an address in Bury as part of 'Operation Houdini', and arrested eight men in total, aged between 20 and 44.
GMP’s Serious Crime Division executed warrants at four addresses in Heywood, three in Rochdale and one in Preston as part of the raids supported by Lancashire Police.
Police said they recovered large quantities of cash and drugs during the raids.
The men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class B drugs and money laundering offences, and remain in custody for questioning.
Anyone with information on drugs supply in the North West should call police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
