A MAN who tried to help his partner when her car was being seized by police was also found to have no licence or insurance for his own vehicle.
Officers pulled over a woman in Little Hulton yesterday when it was discovered that her grey Audi had no insurance, tax or MOT.
While the vehicle was being seized, the woman's partner appeared in his own car, a silver Mercedes C220.
After checking the details of the new car, police found that the man's driving licence had been revoked and that the vehicle was uninsured.
Both vehicles were taken away by officers and the owners will have to pay a 'release fee' of £200 plus a storage fee of £20 for every day or part day that the police keep the cars.
