A PRESTWICH man has been charged after another man was stabbed to death in Lower Kersal.
Bernard Pinkney, aged 33, of Mount Pleasant has been charged with the murder of 28-year-old Kevin Molyneux.
Shortly after 4.10am on Saturday, June 2, police were called to Winster Avenue, in Lower Kersal to reports that a man had been stabbed.
Kevin Molyneux was taken to hospital with stab wounds, but he died of his injuries in hospital.
Pinkney appeared at Manchester City Magistrates Court yesterday.
In a tribute issued through police following his death, Mr Molyneux’s fiancée described him as an ‘amazing fiancé, dad and step dad’.
