A TEAROOMS has been voted as the best independent retailer in the Mill Gate Shopping Centre by shoppers.
Leckenby's Licensed Tea Rooms was crowned as the customers' favourite, receiving 1,700 votes, following a competition run by the shopping centre in July.
Owners Tony Cunningham and Jean Leckenby said: "We are absolutely delighted that customers have voted for us, we are extremely grateful, thank you."
The tearooms have now won an advertising package with the Mill Gate and one voter also won a £50 voucher.
Mill Gate manger, Marie Gribben said: "It is a well-deserved win for Leckenby’s."
