A MAN suspected of drink driving had to be cut out of his car after smashing into some railings.
The incident, involving a silver Vauxhall Astra, happened in Tottington Road, close to the junction with Walshaw Road, shortly after midnight.
After crashing into the railings, the driver was unable to get out of the vehicle.
