STEAM-powered screams filled the night air thanks to the East Lancashire Railway.
It was running ghost trains at the weekend to get passengers in the mood for Hallowe’en Staff dressed up, a creepy magician and a scary clown created some frighteningly good fun, and the dark tunnels and lonely platforms added to the atmosphere.
And for those who missed it, the ELR will be running four more ghost train services on Hallowe’en itself.
