THERE is no access to the M66 towards Manchester from Bury following an accident involving an overturned vehicle.
The entry slip to the motorway at junction 2 is closed and emergency services are in attendance.
The accident at Heap Bridge has caused queuing traffic.
Only minor injuries have been reported but the road will remain closed while emergency services await recovery.
The closure has caused congestion on A58 Rochdale Road in Bury.
For access to the M60, M62 or Simister, drivers are advised to use the south entry at junction 3.
