A DRIVER ran a red light and collided with another vehicle at a junction in Bury town centre
Bury police said the driver of a red Peugeot failed to spot the red light in George Street, and collided with a vehicle that was crossing the junction with Rochdale Road.
The incident was captured on the dashcam of a following vehicle. The driver has been reported for summons.
A police car and patrol attended the scene last night.
Another crash occurred at the same junction in July this year which resulted in a car landing on top of a traffic light.
A red Ford van ran a red light before colliding with a car which in turn crashed into the traffic light, knocking it over, and landing on top of its pole.
