SCENE: Kay Street, in Bury
A MAN managed to escape from a flat fire in Bury this morning.
The blaze broke out at the property, in Kay Street, after a grill pan fire spread to a nearby kitchen unit.
Firefighters were called to the scene shortly after 10.30am and discovered a male with mobility problems had managed to get out of the house.
A crew from Bury Fire Station used breathing apparatus to tackle the fire.
