TWO teenagers are part of a group that have been charged over a spate of knifepoint robberies across Bury.
The group was linked to six incidents of robbery over just three hours in Whitefield and Prestwich on Tuesday.
Police have jointly charged four people with six counts of robbery, as well as an additional 12 counts of attempted robbery, one of possession of an offensive weapon and one of handling stolen goods.
The two teens, aged 15 and 17 – who cannot be named for legal reasons – are joined by Noman Bashir, aged 20, from Beckingham Road, Manchester, and Abdullah Chaudhry, aged 19, from Park Road, Prestwich.
The 17-year-old has also been charged with possession of cannabis.
All of them will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ today (Friday, November 23).
