A SEARCH was conducted in Bromley Cross after complaints a group of people were smoking cannabis.
Police were called to Darwen Road following reports of the nuisance group smoking the Class B drug outside Egerton and Dunscar Health Centre.
Officers attended shortly after 11pm on Thursday but the group had dispersed.
Police from Bolton North shared about their response on social media: "11:08pm 29/11 — Report of people smoking cannabis outside a health centre in Darwen Road, Bromley Cross.
"Patrols attend and conduct area search but people have left prior to our arrival."
Officers added: "It is illegal to smoke cannabis and the smell is a nuisance for local residents.
"Although this was a low priority incident, we had a patrol available because there were no open incidents of higher priority at that moment in time."
