A DRIVER was taken to hospital after a vehicle left the road and ended up in a field.
Police were initially called to reports of a collision in Chorley Road, Blackrod, but on arrival they found that a vehicle had left the road.
The vehicle had landed on its side in a field.
An ambulance also attended shortly before 10.30pm last night, and the driver was taken to hospital.
