A CARE home has received a Good rating following its latest inspection by the independent government health watchdog.

The Care Quality Commission deemed Half Acre Care Home in Radcliffe to be Good in all key performance indicators — safety, care, effectiveness, responsiveness and quality of leadership.

The home in Higher Ainsworth Road provides care for older people some of whom have nursing needs.

Half Acre has maintained a positive rating, with inspectors also rating it Good after their previous visit in May 2016.

Inspectors visited the home, which is run by Four Seasons Health Care, on December 17 and found that residents were well looked after by a kind and caring team.

The home has achieved top line customer satisfaction ratings averaging of around 98 percent during recent months in feedback from residents, relatives and visiting care professionals.

Inspectors said there were sufficient staff on duty with the right skills to meet people's needs in a timely way.

Marjorie Condacos, Regional Managing Director at Four Seasons Health Care, said: “Such a positive inspection report and customer feedback can only be achieved by a caring and dedicated team."
