TWO men have been charged with possessing weapons, ammunition and firearms after members of the public were threatened.
Kirktis Edwards, aged 35, of no fixed address, and Rumaal Ingram, aged 31, of The Parklands, in Radcliffe, have both been charged after police were called to reports of men making threats outside a property in Lower Broughton.
Officers were called to a house in Cottenham Lane shortly before 4am on New Year's Day.
Edwards and Ingram have both been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of ammunition and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or unlawful violence.
Ingram has also been charged with possession of cannabis, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.
The pair were remanded in custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today.
