THE classic fairytale of Sleeping Beauty was brought to the stage by Bolton Premier Operatic Society in 1977.
The performance opened at Horwich Leisure Centre at the end of January for a week.
Pictured resplendent in their costumes are the principal actors.
The popular children's tale had all the ingredients for the perfect seasonal production — a beautiful princess, a sleeping enchantment and a handsome prince — to delight audiences, old and young alike.
Next month, St Simon and St Jude ADS will be bringing the same story to the stage as their annual family show.
It opens on February 20 to 23.
