FIREFIGHTERS were called to a large rubbish fire at the back of a mill on Friday evening.
The fire started at around 7pm on York Street, in Bury.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire Rescue Service said: "We attended a large rubbish fire on York Street at the back of a mill.
"It took us about an hour to get it under control and we used one jet.
"It was just a rubbish fire so nobody was hurt."
