A MAN has been jailed for his part in handling a stolen French Horn.
Samuel Lodge, of Kilburn Road, Radcliffe, has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for handling the instrument taken from a vehicle in Whitefield.
The 21-year-old has also been disqualified from driving for one year after driving without insurance and crashing his car whilst being pursued by police who had come to speak to him.
In a tweet GMP Whitefield wrote: "* Court result * Samuel Lodge (21) of Kilburn Rd Radcliffe. Prison for 12 weeks for handling stolen French Horn from theft from vehicle in Whitefield. Disqualified from driving for 1 year for no insurance & crashing car fleeing from police calling around to speak with him ..."
