ANNIVERSARY RUN: Bolton parkrun has become something of an institution in the town since it began organising free, timed and marshalled runs around the running track, trails and woodland of Leverhulme Park on February 5, 2011. It takes place at 9am every Saturday morning and more than 10,000 people have done it over the years – some just once, others more than 300 times. Last weekend took the event's existence past the eight years mark, and Bolton News head of sport, Neil Bonnar, himself a regular at the event, having completed it 308 times, took advantage of an injury preventing him from running by going along to take some pictures of anniversary event
