AN ACCLAIMED singer-songwriter is bringing her magical new show to The Met.

Ana Silvera will play the Bury venue for the first time on March 20 as part of her latest tour in support of her sophomore album Oracles.

The London-born artist has spent recent years working on a variety of musical projects including composing and singing in a full length original work for the Royal Ballet entitled Cassandra, collaborating with choirs and instrumental ensembles such as the Concerto Caledonia and Estonian Television Girls Choir.

Ana is now returning to the stage for a stripped down performance of her evocative new material, which combines folk and bluegrass elements with folklore and myth.

She will be joined for the Bury date by award-winning Danish double bass player Jasper Høiby, also of jazz trio Phronesis.

The Met show will take place from 8pm and tickets priced £15 are available from themet.org.uk/event/ana-silvera/ or by calling the box office on 0161 761 2216.
