FORMER players, or anyone with memorabilia, are being urged to help celebrate 40 years of women's county cricket in Lancashire.
To mark the milestone, a celebration is being planned in the form of a reunion of all first-team players to have represented the teams over the years and an exhibition of memorabilia.
Organisers are attempting to contact as many of the 150-plus players who have played for the first team, whom they hope to get together at Old Trafford at one of this season's Lancashire Women's games.
Former players, and anyone who has pictures, old scorebooks, shirts, etc, which they are willing to loan or donate to an exhibition can get in touch with Jen Barden at the Lancashire Cricket Foundation either by emailing jbarden@lancashirecricket.co.uk or calling 07713 287989.
