A FUNDRAISING drive saw the ladies of Greenmount Golf Club swing into action to help two charities.
Thanks to a year of ladies' lunches and raffles, an impressive £1,520 was raised for D-Caff- a Greenmount charity for dementia.
The money will help support its nostalgia room.
Mrs Kim Fletcher, the 2018 ladies' captain, also nominated the Lalley Centre foodbank in Collyhurst as her second chosen charity.
The golfing ladies donated more than 500 items of tinned and packet food, along with fresh fruit and vegetables.
They are now busy raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society - this year's chosen charity.
