A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault after an incident involving a 14-year-old girl.
The 39-year-old man from the Middlesbrough are was arrested following the report of the incident in the Normanby area of the town.
The man remains in police custody, Cleveland Police said.
The girl was allegedly sexually assaulted as she walked alone along a wooded path near Ormesby Road, Normanby, at about 9.30pm on Sunday.
