TWO drivers had a lucky escape following a crash this morning.
The incident, involving a Vauxhall Astra and a Nissan Silvia, happened in Bolton Road, between Grindsbrook Road and Watling Street, shortly after 7am.
Police attended the scene and breathalysed both drivers, but no arrests were made.
No one was injured in the incident, although paramedics attended to check over those involved.
Both cars have been left with considerable damage.
Liam Lee was driving the black Nissan and was on his way to work at Bury Market at the time.
Mr Lee, aged 23, said: "I am glad no one was injured. It could have been a lot worse than it was."
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called just before 7.10am to reports of two cars having collided in Bolton Road.
"There were no injuries, however an ambulance did attend to check the drivers over."
