POLICE stopped a car driving through Bury after spotting a young child laying across three people in the rear.
Officers made the shocking discovery while on night time patrol around the town centre.
They then pulled the silver Peugeot over and reported the driver.
Another vehicle was called to take one of the other four passengers home so that the child could ride in safety.
GMP Specials tweeted: "Night time economy patrol around #Bury town centre, officers spot this vehicle with a young child lying across THREE adults in the rear of the car.
"Driver reported & another vehicle called to take the excess passenger home."
