AFTER the weather disruption of the past couple of weeks, the Bolton Sports Federation Over-35s Football League completed 10 matches on Sunday.

The last scheduled week of league fixtures saw Salford’s Waggon and Victoria share the points in a 4-4 draw in Division One.

Rob Faiyaz scored two goals and Paul Taylor and Darren Longford got one each for Salford Waggon, with Allan Houghton, two, Mike Csullag and Tony Weall replying for Salford Victoria.

Daz Smith scored the only goal to give leaders Rochdale Sports Club a narrow home victory over Queen Lizzy.

In Division Two, leaders Bolton Lads and Girls Club were held to a 1-1 draw at Turton Vets.

Darren Holt scored for the home side and Stu Vasaya saved a point for BLGC.

Second-placed Horwich St Mary’s, who are four points behind the leaders with two games in hand, thrashed Tika Taka Volunteers 8-2.

Michael Cowburn netted a hat-trick, Sammy Cardwell scored two and Chris Tonge, Daniel Purnell and Ross Crompton got one each for St Mary's, with Paul Munro and Danny Brent on target for Tika Taka.

It was honours even in the rearranged Division Three match between leaders Radcliffe Old Boys B and bottom side Radcliffe Vets B who picked up their first point of the season.

Mark Owen and Jamie Gledhill scored for the Old Boys while Andy Greenhalgh got both goals for the Vets.

The Divisional Cup competitions finally completed their second rounds after two washout weeks.

The semi-finals are now scheduled for this Sunday, except for the Division Two game between Horwich St Mary’s and Radcliffe Town which will be the following week due to Horwich having a game against Division One leaders Rochdale Sports Club in a Sam Ashworth Trophy semi-final.

The remaining Division Two second-round game saw Radcliffe Town beat AFC Dobbies B 2-1.

Grant Chapple and Ian Judd scored for Radcliffe with Mark Longshaw on target for Dobbies.

In the Division Three encounter, Gidlow Athletic had a more comfortable 4-1 win against Moss Bank, with Martin Meehan scoring a hat-trick and Ste Bell adding Gidlow's other goal, and Tommy Cannon getting Moss Bank's consolation.

The three Division Four games produced 17 goals, six at both Deans and Atherton, and five at Wigan.

Leaders Ainsworth proved too strong for Deans Youth with Gareth Harrison, two, Michael Jefferson, Rob Wilcox and Stephen Hutchenson on target for the winners, and Ste Lockett scoring for Deans.

The game at Atherton Town was more even, but with two goals each, Pete Carson and Scott Mulcrow gave them victory over bottom side Tottington United Vets for whom Anthony Garnett scored twice.

The match at Wigan Town finished 4-1 and might also have had six goals, but for a missed penalty by visitors Heaton Casuals. Paul Fleming scored Wigan’s goal and Clint McLoughlin scored all four for Heaton.
