Among the changes are a new, designated dog-friendly area, extended function suite and a family dining area.

It also boasts an outdoor heated and covered terrace with a beer garden.

The pub serves a range of traditional award-winning Joseph Holt real ales and lagers, as well as wines and spirits from around the world, and home-cooked food.

After refurbishment, the pub now has a new bar area with cosy adjacent areas for drinkers and diners, alongside a 48-seater restaurant.
