An employee was threatened after he asked a man how he was going to pay for some vodka and tobacco.
On April 4, a man entered KPS Wines in Delta Gain, Carpenders Park. He immediately went to the counter of the off-licence where he asked to buy some tobacco.
The shop worker took two packets and put them on the counter. The customer put the tobacco straight into his pocket before reaching and taking a large bottle of vodka from a shelf.
He was asked how he was going to pay to which the shop worker was then threatened with violence.
The customer then left the shop with the tobacco and alcohol.
Detective Constable Paul Burton, from the Three Rivers local crime unit, said: “We are keen to identify the man pictured as we believe he was in the vicinity at the time of the incident and may have information that could assist our investigation.”
