A MAN has been arrested after a police pursuit through a Prestwich park.
Officers said they chased a man through the St Mary's Park area of Prestwich before catching the offender.
He was arrested for possession of drugs with intent to supply.
Greater Manchester Police's Bury South team posted about the arrest on social media: "The ongoing work to combat offences continues.
"Last night in St Marys Park area officers gave chase to a male who tried to discard his bag.
"Caught and arrested for possession with intent to supply.
"Perceived soft drugs like cannabis or even cocaine go hand in hand with crime and in particular violent crime.
"We are increasingly finding youths with cannabis and paraphernalia on them. Insp B."
