A MUSICAL trio with more than 30 years' experience as members of orchestras and chamber groups will perform at Bury Parish Church.

Three wind players are set to be the latest musicians to perform at the venue, which has been the scene for a host of top concerts down the years.

The latest ensemble to grace the picturesque place of worship will be the Kell Wind Trio consisting of Alastair Roberts on flute, Geoffrey Smith on clarinet and Ian Harvey on bassoon.

The group promises to deliver a lively and informative concert at 12.30pm on Friday, introducing the music they perform and speaking with the audience about the composers' lives.

Their music varies in style and genre, dating from the Baroque period to tunes from the 20th and 21st centuries.

Tickets for the concert, at £5 including a programme, are available on the door.
