SEVEN people have been charged with drug offences after police carried out dawn raids on properties Bury.
Officers carried out the raids yesterday as part of an ongoing operation - Operation Ballerina - which was set up to disrupt the supply of drugs in Bury.
The following people have since been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A controlled drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine:
• Jade Adams, aged 28, of Goldbrook Close, Heywood
• Kieran Kay, aged 26, of Goldbrook Close, Heywood
• Colin Nuttall, aged 65, of Kestrel Drive, Bury
• Andrew Dootson, aged 58, of Padiham Close, Bury
• Lee Cirillo born, aged 34, of HMP Manchester
Mohammad Mohsin Ali, aged 22, of Chesham Road, Bury has been charged with being concerned in the supply of class A controlled drugs, five counts of supplying class A controlled drugs namely heroin and crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin, possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Irfan Younis, aged 39, of Sefton Street, Bury has been charged with two counts of supplying class A controlled drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine.
They were remanded to appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates’ today.
