ARSONISTS have struck at a Bury park twice in two days.
The latest attack on the pavilion at Hoyles Park saw a crew from Bury Fire spend an hour putting out a fire.
The arsonists had broken into the pavilion at the 3.35 hectares park on Huntley Mount Road and set equipment alight at around 6pm on Monday.
On Sunday, a fire crew from Bury tackled a blaze outside the pavilion.
Speaking of the latest incident, watch manager Peter Gray said: "The pavilion is used for storage for five-a-side and garden maintenance equipment.".
He added: "Bury Council were called and secured the building."
