A NIGHT of hard hitting, heart stopping and high flying wrestling action is returning to Prestwich.

Two of the UK's most popular wrestling stars are set to face off in a bid to take the crown at the Futureshock Live British Pro Wrestling: Underground 33, on June 22.

The action packed evening, which is sure to be unforgettable, will feature two major championship matches and a tag team grudge match with a twist.

In the night's main event, current Futureshock king, "Fighting" John McGregor, faces of against "Turkish Wolf" Soner Dursun to defend his Heavyweight Championship title.

John shocked the world when he conquered the monster "Crater" to scoop the title, and sees every defence as an opportunity to prove himself.

Meanwhile, Soner comes into this epic encounter after the most challenging and emotional year of his career to date, and is determined to prove he should be the company's figurehead.

In the other championship bout, history could repeat itself as Adrenaline Champion Joey Hayes takes on WWE's NXT superstar Ashton Smith in a venomous rematch.

Only a year ago Ashton was champion and fell to challenger Joey in one of the greatest matches in Futureshock history — but now the roles are reversed.

Also taking place is a six person tag team match which sees Hollie and Lana Austin join forces with Callum Corrie to battle the loathed trio of Women's champion Alexis Falcon, JJ Webb and Taonga.

Bad blood has been simmering between all six combatants for some time now and could be about to hit boiling point in Prestwich.

Chris Brooker, the owner of Futureshock, said: "British wrestling is the envy of the world right now and that's absolutely something that we can all be proud of.

"When you come to see FutureShock you'll see action to rival anything you'll see in an arena for ten times the price.

"What's more you won't just see and hear every slam, suplex and strike, you'll be be so close that you'll practically feel it it.

"Whether you're young or old, a hardcore fan or brand new you'll have the time of your life."
