THIS week’s delve into the picture archives at The Bolton News has unearthed this photograph of the Kearsley Cricket Club team that went on to be crowned Bolton League champions in 1982.

THE second photograph featured the Little Lever side that also won the Bolton Cricket League title in 1995.
It was published in last week's sporting nostalgia section and brought back memories for reader Lee Baldwin, who features in the line-up.
He said: "The people who played in the game and on the picture, from back left, were Gary Pilling, Sean Singleton, Anthony Hilton, Bob Waller, James Worrall, Tony Settle, me, Simon Ainsworth, Mel Whittle, Tim Wallwork, Simon Helmot and Nigel Hallows.
"When it was first published, there was an inset picture of Les Whittle who couldn’t make the photoshoot on a Monday night."
