FOUR people in Bolton were charged over the weekend as part of Greater Manchester Police’s new crackdown on drink and drug driving.
On Saturday, Eimantas Nariunas, 32, of Chorley Road was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and no insurance. He is due to appear at Bolton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday July 16.
Patrick Maher, 29, of no fixed address was charged with failing to provide a specimen, driving while disqualified, no insurance and possession of an offensive weapon. He appeared at Bolton Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Modasta Mahoungou, 42, of Newbrook Road was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. He is due to appear at Bolton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 16 July.
Adam Dutkiewicz, 35, of Bredbury Drive was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. He is due to appear at Bolton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 16 July.
48 arrests were made in Greater Manchester in total.
