A LETTER to a national newspaper agony aunt has revealed what some are calling the most British sex problem ever.

Journalist and politician Rachael Johnson - sister of Prime Minister hopeful Boris - tweeted a picture of the letter to The Times's sex counselor with the caption 'very British sex problem'.

The tweet has been shared thousands of times.

In the letter, a man wrote: "Every day I take my wife a cup of tea in bed. She loves this ritual and I like performing it.

"However, we sometimes make love in the mornings (after I’ve brought the tea) and she pauses to finish her cup before it goes cold.

"For me, it kills the moment. I’m sure our love life would be more passionate if she didn’t take this short tea break."

Quick witted Twitter users were quick to give advice - and to crack a joke or two.

sabre_ferret tweeted: "Surely a tea cosy would be a simple solution."

While eccentrist dad tweeted: "If it were peak English the tea would still be piping hot after the sex."
